Dulce Ruiz Final Exam Eassy

The hero's journey is based on a hero that goes through tragic, happiness, sadness, and pain. They face fear and still go through it without giving up. They reach for there goals, and achieve there dreams.
In my perspective The Giver is a really good example for the heros journey. Jonas in this case was part of the heros journey. Jona was born with different colored eyes, he was unique young boy because he experiencd unusal things from everyone else. He was afraid of not being able to get a task because he does not know what he belongs in.
When Jonas starts to feel unusal feelings he trys to let his parents know about it, but they really don't seem to care. Once he gets a sign as a reciever of memory he starts going into images he's never been through in his life, pain, love, happiness, and violence.
The end of his journey could be represented in two ways. The reason for this is because you don't really know if he dies at the end. You don't know if the images he see of the houses and christmas lights are rally there or if it's just a memory, an image he recieved.
This heros journey was well represented. It had everything a hero would actually go through. In my perspective this ws one of the best books i've read and has all the parts in a heros journey.
