Romance Hero - "The Great Gatsby"

The Romance Hero is a mysterious person with also a mysterious past and mysterious origin. The Romantic Hero lives it's life through suffering trying to gain back something that was lost and desires the most. In "The Great Gatsby" Jay become a Romantic Hero. Gatsby does extraordinary things to get back and be with his loved one, Daisy; but all he does takes him no where but to his own death.

When Gatsby realizes that Daisy would never marry him because he was poor and Her family would not allow, Gatsby worked and got into illegal businesses to become rich and get Daisy back, but changed his name and never mention to anyone about his family. After Daisy marries tom Gatsby buys a house on the other side of the river, where Daisy lives. Everynight he would watch the lights on the dock from Daisy's house. Gatsby knew what he needed to know about Daisy's life except he didnt know that she had a daughter.

Gatsby finds himsel a faithfull followerin Nick, Daisy's cousin. Nick later on finds out what happened between daisy and Gatsby. Nick gets tested by Gatsby by having Nick arrange a meeting between the two lovers. After the meeting Daisy and Gatsby continue seen eachother. Another test Nick goes through is keeping the two lovers relationship in sectret and away from Tom.

gatsby does alot of things for Daisy's love. The betryal to the Romantic Hero comes when Gatsby covers up for Daisy after she runs over Myrtle and killing her thinknig that this accident will give them the chance to escape. gatsby gets killed by George Wilson, then Daisy betrays Gatsby by not going to his funeral but only Nick and Gatsby's father and Daisy forgetting what had happened.
